Gabriel Newman

Hi, my name is Gabriel Newman. I'm a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I was always that kid at camp using a 10.2 megapixel Nikon Coolpix to document our excitement. My interest in photography has only grown and expanded, from shooting mostly landscapes to capturing street photography, to more sophisticated portraits.

In addition to photography, I'm an avid sailor, martial artist, and linguist. Before the recent public health crisis, I spent the last two years working in China and traveling throughout East Asia.

As a photographer, my purpose is to capture images that will have a lasting impact while preserving a moment in time. I love trying new things, meeting new people, and traveling to new places with my camera.
